Mookaite, also known as the geological name Windalia Radiolarite, is mined principally at the Mooka Station on the Kennefy Range in Western Australia. Mookaite comes in many colors, mostly red, white and yellow. It also comes in ivory, orange, purple, maroon, pink, crimson and mustard. This is a beautifully colored stone in earth tones and can enhance and design.
Healing Beliefs - Mookaite is an Australian Jasper. It is considered to give strength and protect the wearer from problems. This stone is also believed to help contact friends and family who have passed on.
